SAPAA Friendster Turns Three (3) Years!
May 14th, 2009 by sapaa-unorLong lived SAPAA and READS Scholars!
Let’s all continue to live and work with values and teachings that our Alma Mater (UNO-R) and our Recollect Fathers taught us. Wherever part of the world we are now, we may still continue to be a good example & an inspiration to young working scholars; to continue to dream high, believe in themselves, study & work harder, play and have strong faith to God.
Nothing is sweeter than enjoying the fruits of our labor through our own hardships and prayers. To young working scholars, you may stumble along your
way but don’t ever ever give up your dreams; dream for yourself and for your family! The pains, tears, and all struggles in your college life are just temporary, these are an instruments to sharpen your faith & to help you mold the kind of person you wanted to be. Enjoy every moment being a working scholar, camaraderie with fellow READS cos someday, you’ll become professional you would still wish to come back to UNO-R, enjoy the x’mas party, monthly allowance, sports feast, initiation, and many other contests and events like most of us are longing for.
Congratulations to all of us! Happy Happy 3rd year SAPAA Friendster! We look forward to see more of our manongs ang manangs here! Of course, young (READS) working scholars, you are most welcome to join - remember, if you feel down, stressed in studies and work, if you think of giving up your dreams, just
find time to reach out the seniors, read our SAP testimonies, in that way, we may help you enlighten and encourage you to pursue what you have started
and finish your degree. Just send us email, we’re here to listen to all your battles and victorious moments.
Personally, at this very moment, I’m not here now in my room, using my laptop writing this blog if once in my life, I wasn’t given a chance to clean the College of…., to assist the faculty members - checking their attendance, helping the regular students during enrollment, taking and bringing the test questionnaires from/to property custodian. I don’t see myself working abroad now if I wasn’t
given a chance to map the foor, clean the office, experience scolded by some arrogant regular students, etc… Therefore, everything I have now in my profession is because once in my life, I was a working student in UNO-R under the SAP (Student Assistance Program).
Thank you very much to our dear Recollect Fathers, to UNO-R Administration, to Our Dear Nang Nilds - our forever nanay sa SAP, nang Cathy and nang Jane!
We truly miss you all and forever be thankful to all the supports you always extend during our time!!!
Again, Happy 3rd Year Anniversary SAPAA Friendster!
